Methodologies to validate isoform-specific tool. a End-point PCR: A single PCR reaction amplifying simultaneously the long and short isoform is ran for every treatment. Quantification by the Psi formula is output as bar graph. b Real-time PCR. Two PCR reaction (one for the short isoform, one for the long isoform) is ran for every treatment. No gel is needed. Quantification by the QPsi formula is output as bar graph.
